DEFINITION
* Sparring is characterized by an equal, constructive, and critical exchange. The sparring partner contributes their own experiences, knowledge, and perspectives, but works together with the client to develop solutions. The goal is to question existing ideas, refine them, and jointly develop new strategies or courses of action. Responsibility for the solution remains with the client, while the sparring partner provides support, challenges assumptions, and offers reflection. Depending on the situation, the sparring partner may act as an advisor, critic, moderator, or active listener.
Sparring is particularly suited for leaders, entrepreneurs, and teams seeking honest feedback, fresh perspectives, and a safe space for reflection and decision-making.
